Fried Egg Sandwich Recipe

This fried egg sandwich makes an excellent breakfast or lunch option. The runny yolk, creamy mayonnaise, and tangy ketchup make for a delicious and filling meal.

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cook Time: 5 minutes
  • Total Time: 10 minutes

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Allow the butter to melt in the pan.
  • Add the eggs to the pan and season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny.
  • Toast the bread slices while the eggs are cooking.
  • On one slice of bread, spread mayonnaise, and on the other, ketchup.
  • Place one slice of bread with the fried eggs on top, then the other slice.
  • Serve the sandwich hot, cut in half.
