Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
  • Bake the bread slices for 5-7 minutes, or until crispy, on a baking sheet.
  • Prepare the avocado and tomato while the bread is toasting.
  • Remove the pit from the avocado and scoop out the flesh into a bowl.
  • With a fork, mash the avocado until smooth.
  • Add the tomato and red onion to the bowl with the avocado.
  • Garlic, minced, should be added to the avocado mixture.
  • Combine the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  • Remove the bread from the oven and set aside for a minute or two to cool.
  • Spread the avocado and tomato mixture evenly on top of each slice of bread.
  • Serve right away and enjoy.
