Instructions

  • Whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, minced garlic, minced ginger, and water in a mixing bowl.
  • Toss the sliced pork belly in the bowl with the marinade to coat.
  • Refrigerate for at least an hour or overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • Place the marinated pork belly on a baking sheet lined with foil.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until thoroughly cooked.
  • To make a slurry, combine cornstarch and 2 tablespoons water in a small bowl.
